Meet Henry @henryjf.xyz, who, over the last decade, has co-led a project to map and revitalize historic herding routes in the Westfjords of Iceland. Through the project, Henry has guided walking artist residencies and conservation work camps (to restore cairns and plant native trees) while also developing a diverse repertoire of nature-based ‘wayfinding’ practices including: stone working, cold and hot water swimming, storytelling, foraging, walking and wild camping, and ceremony.
All this information and more is now available through his four-part guide to the region, ‘Walking and Wayfinding in the Westfjords of Iceland’.
